Job summary

Humble Imports, Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician (Preship) to oversee final phase inspections of custom builds. The role ensures all work meets strict quality standards, including alignment, drivetrain and cosmetic checks, before vehicles are shipped.

The candidate will verify completed work, drive test miles, and document results, with opportunities to contribute to tuning and final adjustments in a busy, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting vehicles for faults and repairs.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to complete and use reports.
• Experience conducting routine services and vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent team communication and adaptability.
• Sound problem-solving skills.
• Race/Custom experience is a plus.
• Completion of ASE is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive vehicle from production and perform a full Phase 6 inspection (594 lines).
• Address all quality control issues raised in the report.
• Ensure vehicle safety, functionality and build quality before shipping.
• Perform quality checks and test miles during phase.
• Assist with tuning and performance enhancements as needed.
• Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools.
• Follow safety policies and quality control throughout the build process.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
