Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Final Integration Technician II for the 2nd shift in Kirkland, WA to execute development and production integration and test activities of the Leo satellite in final integration. You will work in a cleanroom, using precision tools and reading engineering drawings to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires 1+ years with hand tools and precision instruments, plus experience with test methods and high-traceability manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches).
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system.
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings.
• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification.

Responsibilities

• Integration and test of the Leo satellite and various complex subassemblies in a cleanroom and ESD controlled environment.
• Use precision calibrated tools – torque wrenches, multimeters, optical inspection devices, micrometers and calipers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Perform work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions.
• Run functional and environmental testing on units, including some basic troubleshooting operations.
• Use computer software programs for running tests.
• Check and inspect your work after completion to ensure engineering and quality standards are met per the drawing and work instruction requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop and document activities, including continuous improvement opportunities.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient, safe and effective work environment.
