Job summary

CMI Group seeks a Final Inspector / In-Process Dimensional Inspector (Aerospace) in Phoenix, AZ. Shift options available (Day/Night with 20% differential). Must have 3+ years of aerospace inspection experience and strong GD&T skills.

Responsibilities include dimensional inspection, in-process audits, and final certification documentation. Candidates should be able to lift up to 20 pounds and endure a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Aerospace Final Inspector / In-Process Dimensional Inspector experience.
• Very knowledgeable of GD&T.
• Experience in fast paced environment.
• Self-starter and team oriented.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and sit/stand up to 8 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Dimensional Inspection: Measure precision aerospace parts using manual gages.
• Blueprints & GD&T: Interpret complex engineering drawings and geometric symbols.
• In-Process Audits: Check parts during production to catch defects early.
• Final Inspection: Conduct ultimate quality checks prior to customer shipment.
• Documentation: Record inspection results, fill out logs, and sign off certifications.
• Non-Conformance Routing: Isolate, tag, and document defective parts (NCRs).
• Equipment Care: Verify tool calibration and clean measurement instruments daily.

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
