We are currently seeking a Final Inspector at our facility in Monroe, NC. As a final inspector, you are an integral part of a team that is responsible for verifying that material meets required specifications such as length, size, and identification before being shipped. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all customer specifications are met: the diameter of the bar and shape matches the template provided, there are no defects on the exterior of the bar, and the grade of the material matches. You will then prepare inspection reports. A successful candidate will need to demonstrate commitment and attention to detail.

  • Use measuring devices like micrometers, vernier calipers, and measuring tapes
  • Operate heavy machinery such as overhead cranes to guide material
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Must be able to pass In-depth vision screening
