Century Furniture LLC is seeking a Final Inspector for its Chair Plant 3 in Hickory, NC. The role focuses on ensuring product quality before shipment and includes inspecting furniture, removing loose strings, cleaning fabric marks, and verifying stitching and welt sizes.

The incumbent will place deck labels and hang tags, using an air hose to remove debris as needed. The position requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), and the ability to read route sheets.

Responsibilities

• Inspect furniture, placing on lift if necessary.
• Check ticket for proper information and instructions.
• Remove all loose strings.
• Use air hose to blow cotton fragments off of piece if necessary.
• Clean soiled areas using proper cleaner to remove any marks.
• Check for bad stitching or seams.
• Check for too small or large welt.
• Check for flaws in fabric or scars in material.
• Check for proper cushion fit and proper fabric match.
• Steam out wrinkles where needed.
• Place deck labels and proper hang tag in each piece.
