Qualifications

Experience in a metal cutting and/or grinding manufacturing environment.
Basic PC literacy with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and AS400 or similar systems knowledge.
Detail oriented with good documentation skills.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interface well within a team and other departments.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Perform both sample and 100% inspection for dimensional and visual characteristics for in-process and final inspection requirements.
Blueprint reading and interpretation, including a basic understanding of GD&T.
Review vendor certifications for accuracy.
Assist in development of written inspection specifications.
