Entegris, Inc. in Bedford, MA is seeking a Final Inspector to join our ESC operations team on second shift (Mon-Fri, 2 PM to 10:30 PM).

The role covers final electrical and vacuum testing, cleaning and packaging of echucks and other coated products, with cross-training to support multiple areas. You will inspect parts visually and with metrology tools (CMM), operate processing equipment, follow safety, document SPC data, and assist engineers with process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing or quality testing experience.
• Able to lift 40 lbs and stand for most of the shift.
• Fluency in English required for training purposes.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety best practices and wear PPE on the production floor.
• Operate vacuum and other processing equipment.
• Set up and de-fixture parts for final testing.
• Inspect parts visually and with metrology tools, including CMM, according to quality procedures.
• Perform final part cleaning, packaging, and labeling according to customer specification.
• Enter data in SPC and quality systems to maintain quality documentation.
• Perform confirmations using SAP for work done.
• Maintain a clean work environment following Entegris 6S.
• Follow production priorities and shifts.
• Participate in shift pass downs for safety, quality and production priorities.
• Follow work instructions and fill out work orders and other documentation.
• Provide feedback to Engineers on process improvements when applicable.

Job Description:

The Role :

Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking a Final Inspector to join our team. This will be on Second Shift (Monday thru Friday 2PM to 1030PM) and will be working with other team players in our ESC operations group. This role will involve final electrical and vacuuming testing, cleaning, and packaging of echucks and other coated products. This role should be willing to cross train and support other work areas to support business needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Follow safety best practices and always wear PPE on the production floor.
• Operate vacuum and other processing equipment.
• Set up (fixture) and de-fixture parts for final testing.
• Inspect parts visually and with metrology tools, including CMM, according to quality procedures.
• Perform final part cleaning, packaging, and labelling according to customer specification
• Perform periodic tool refresh and basic equipment maintenance tasks per run schedules.
• Enter all data in SPC and quality systems to ensure that quality documentation is maintained accurately
• Perform confirmations using SAP for work done
• Maintain a clean work environment following all Entegris 6S activities.
• Follow production priorities and perform tasks according to the priorities.
• Actively participate in shift pass downs for communication regarding safety, quality and production priorities
• Follow work instructions and fill out work orders and other documentation as required.
• Provide feedback to Engineers on process improvements when applicable.
• Adhere and promote Entegris PACE Values.

What We Seek:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
• Minimum of 1yr manufacturing or quality testing experience (Machine operation, a plus)
• Able to work Overtime when needed.
• Able to work around chemicals (including but not limited to IPA, Acetone, FeCl, HCL)
• Fluency in English is required for training purposes
• Able to lift 40lbs and stand for almost entire shift
• Ability to work in clean room
• Computer Skills (SAP/CamLine a plus)
• Flexibility to be trained and cross trained in other departments
• Able to train on 1st shift for three months

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Machine operation experience
• Enthusiastic learner and continuous improvement mindset.
• Prior experience operating CMM
