One Park Financial in Salt Lake City is seeking a Junior Underwriter to assess business loan applications and analyze fundamental revenue information.

You will review credit statements, perform background checks, and evaluate risk for daily deal processing. The role emphasizes thorough documentation, collaboration with a team, and adherence to company policies in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience
• Bilingual English and Spanish
• Bachelor’s level of education or above
• Efficient in Microsoft Office
• On-site schedule 9am–6pm Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

• Analyze applications for business owners seeking business capital and review basic information and revenue.
• Provide a summary of credit card processing statements and other documentation that vary by industry.
• Assess risks associated with each deal and conduct background checks and interpretation of information.
• Responsible for processing a minimum of 10 deals daily for $100k+ and maintain losses below 5%.
• Assist with early stages of collections on defaulting accounts.

As a Jr. Underwriter, you embody the One Park Financial brand both internally to your colleagues, and outwardly to the world alike.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing applications for business owners who are seeking business capital. Conducting a thorough analysis of the business’s basic information and revenue.
• Providing a summary of the credit card processing statements and other documentation that will vary depending on the industry.
• Properly assessing any risks associated with any given deal.
• Conducting background checks, pulling credit reports, and interpreting information as it relates to a business.
• Responsible for processing a minimum of 10 deals daily for an amount of $100k+. Keeping and maintaining a maximum rate of 5% of losses on deals analyzed and funded.
• Responsible for the beginning stages of collections on defaulting accounts.

Qualifications

• 1‑3 years of customer service experience / preferably in a business‑related field.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must have strong communication skills & the ability to work well in a team setting.
• The candidate must be bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish).
• Needs to be efficient in Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s level of education or above.
• Clear and LexisNexis knowledge preferred.
• Work a schedule from 9am‑6pm Monday‑Friday On‑Site.
