Job summary

Living Spaces is seeking a Final Finisher in our manufacturing department to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will bring humility, respect, speed, discipline, and guest-focused mindset while delivering high-quality finishes on furniture.

The role involves applying stains, oils, and top coats, disassembling items for finishing, and using hand grinders, sanders, chisels, and related tools. High school diploma or GED is required, with up to 1 year in finishing work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Customize and repair furniture using solvents and tools.
• Brush, spray, or hand-rub finishes onto wood grain.
• Disassemble items to finish preparation using grinders, sanders, chisels, steel wool, pumice, and sandpaper.
• Apply stains, top coats, varnish, shellac, lacquer, stain, and wood sealants for furniture.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• With the use of solvents and tools, customize and repair furniture.
• Brush, spray, or hand-rub finished ingredients, such as paint, oil, or wax, onto and into wood grain.
• Disassemble items to prepare them for finishing, using hand grinders, sanders, chisels, steel wool, pumice, and sandpaper.
• Apply stains, top coats or varnish, shellac, lacquer, stain and wood sealants for furniture.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant’s education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.

Compensation: $17.40 - $23.25

Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members.Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI’s.
