Job summary

Dover Food Retail is hiring an Assembler II – Final Assembly for the 1st shift. You will complete refrigeration cases according to quality standards and work orders, including installing sub-assemblies, panels, shelves, and lighting.

You’ll read BOMs, identify parts, and use hand/power tools, measuring devices, and safety gear to maintain high-quality assembly. Candidates should be team-oriented, quick learners, and capable of following detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• Reads and comprehends a job order and BOM to identify parts and placement
• Uses hand/power tools to assemble per instructions
• Reads measuring devices and ensures proper tolerances
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized workstation
• Demonstrates teamwork and problem-solving to meet production goals

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials
• Identify parts and their placement on the product line
• Identify power and hand tools used on their line
• Assemble using hand or power tools
• Measure using rulers, tapes, and other gauges
• Fasten components with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners
• Maintain safety and cleanliness at the workstation
• Perform other duties as assigned
