Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an Assembler II – Final Assembly for the 1st shift. You will complete refrigeration cases per quality standards and work orders, including sub-assemblies such as installing inside backs, ceilings, shelves, and wiring.

Read job orders and BOMs, identify parts and tools, measure accurately with rulers and tape measures, and fasten components. Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials
• Identify parts used on their assigned product line and their placement on the product
• Identify power and hand tools used on their line
• Perform assembly-type functions using hand or power tools
• Identify parts and descriptions using work order information
• Read rulers, tapes, and other measuring instruments
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners
• Identify maintenance needed on equipment and tooling
• Utilize electrical testing equipment like dielectric testing or voltage meters
• Work at different workstations as production needs require
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Use appropriate safety equipment for each operation
• Perform other duties as assigned
