Final Assembly Technician I (Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 2:30 pm)

Position Objective
Perform workstation assembly operations, including sewing and packaging heart valves in a clean room environment. Inspect components for conformance using microscopes, follow standard procedures, and practice safe work habits to ensure efficient and safe production.

Responsibilities

1. Sew and assemble sewing cuffs to specification in a cleanroom environment.
2. Inspect materials, components, and finished goods with a microscope.
3. Maintain production and inspection records.
4. Assist with monitoring, cleaning, and testing in the cleanroom.
5. Batch components for daily production.
6. Be trained to sew all Mitrals, Aortics, and Conform_X product lines.
7. Prioritize quality in all tasks.
8. Maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
9. Adhere to all Clean Room GMPs regarding behavior and attire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred experience in manufacturing, inspection, or intricate hand work
• Familiarity with FDA & ISO manufacturing practices (preferred)
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, internet, email)
• Ability to read detailed instructions and drawings
• Ability to use a microscope
• Availability to work Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 2:30 pm, with OT and Saturdays as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Lift or bend with up to 25 lbs
• Tolerance to cooler temperatures, noise, dust, odors
• Good or corrected eyesight and eye/hand coordination
