Greif is seeking a Final Assembly Operator for 1st shift. You will help produce high‑quality steel drums in a safe, efficient environment, with on‑the‑job training provided. The role is entry level, Monday–Friday, with potential extended hours based on production needs.

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and report equipment concerns.
• Maintain accurate production records and report defects.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Position Details

• Shift: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM start
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: Shifts may extend up to 12 hours based on production needs.
• Weekends: Voluntary weekend opportunities only
• Experience: Entry-level – On-the-job training provided!

What You’ll Do

As a Final Assembly Operator, you’ll help produce high-quality steel drums while maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 year of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• No previous machine operation experience required; training provided.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and workplace safety.
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Compensation Range:

The pay for this position is $23.89 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
