Job summary

Aerotek in Sherwood, OR is seeking a Final Assembler / Final Assembly Mechanic to build and test heavy lift equipment. You will interpret engineering drawings, perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly on large equipment, and ensure quality and safety across multiple product lines.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint literacy, and the ability to work with diverse teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a Monday–Friday schedule and onsite operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in mechanical assembly or related heavy equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with hand and power tools in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and test heavy lift equipment per drawings.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as needed.
• Read blueprints and determine assembly methods.
• Ensure quality, safety and clean work area.
