Job summary

Artex Manufacturing is expanding its Warehouse Team in Redwood Falls, MN. The role involves assembling, wiring, hydraulics, and trailer components, with safety-first duties and heavy lifting.

The starting wage is $24.27 per hour with regular increases and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, a strong 401K match, and more. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 6:00am–4:30pm, with optional Friday overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret documents (safety rules, instructions).
• Ability to read prints to complete final assembly of trailers, boxes, etc.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and comply with safety/environmental policies.
• Read prints to complete final assembly of trailers, boxes, and attachments.
• Install decals and attachments to trailers and other equipment.
• Assemble and plumb hydraulic lines; troubleshoot as needed.
• Install wiring and test for proper operation.
• Install air lines for tailgates and wheel assembly; align wheels.
• Install tarp kits (electric, manual, side to side).
• Operate welding equipment including plasma cutter and saw.
• Complete final inspection per BOM before shipping.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety of facility.
• Accurately complete all paperwork and maintain records.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Work safely and comply with company and regulatory safety/environmental policies, practices and procedures
• Read prints to accurately complete final assembly of trailers, boxes, spreaders and attachments - steel and aluminum
• Install decals and attachments to trailers and other equipment
• Assemble and plumb hydraulic lines (steel and rubber); troubleshoot as needed
• Install wiring through various methods (i.e. soldering, crimping); test and troubleshoot as needed
• Install air lines for tailgates and wheel assembly; install and align wheels
• Install tarp kits - electric, manual, side to side, front to back, etc.
• Correctly and accurately operate welding equipment, including plasma cutter and saw
• Complete final inspection of attachments, tailgates, trailers and spreaders, per the BOM and prior to shipping
• Maintain housekeeping, maintenance and safety of facility to comply with Company standards
• Accurately and legibly complete all paperwork in a timely manner; maintain records, as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferred

Experience In a Manufacturing Environment, Preferred

• Knowledgeable of different types of fluids, hydraulic, gear oil - measuring and filling
• Knowledge of hydraulic fittings
• Accurately read a tape measure to a 1/16" with ability to calculate, as needed
• Ability to accurately read and interpret documents (i.e. safety rules, instructions, etc.)
• Ability to lift/carry up to 75 poundsAbility to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and crawl, frequently
• Ability to meet vision requirements - close, distance, peripheral, and depth
• Ability to work in an environment with extreme heat, cold, and loud noise levels
• Ability to perform all hand and wrist movements, continuously
