Job Description
Join a dynamic manufacturing facility specializing in aluminum feed transportation equipment as a Final Assembler. Located in Cedar Rapids, IA, this role involves hands-on assembly work contributing to the production of high-quality trailers.
Responsibilities
Wire lights onto trailers.
Hook up hydraulic hoses.
Assemble final parts and components.
Assist in various areas as needed.
Stand on feet for 8 hours a day.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Climb on work platforms.
Essential Skills
6+ months of experience in 12-volt electrical wiring or hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in using power and hand tools.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Capability to stand for 8 hours a day.
Steel-toed boots are mandatory.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Automotive experience is highly desirable.
Mechanical inclination, ideally with experience working on equipment at farms or job sites.
Experience in automotive repair and maintenance.

Work Environment
Work in a facility that is cool in the winter and warm in the summer, maintaining a clean atmosphere for a manufacturing setting. With a workforce of around 150 employees, shifts are structured into first, second, and building out third shift. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a t-shirt. Welding jackets and hoods are required for welders. The second shift operates from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, while the third shift runs from 10:30 PM to 6:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
