Baltimore Aircoil Company - USA is seeking a Fin Press Mechanical Tech to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic presses for metal components. Responsibilities include die changeovers, coil-feeding, machine adjustments, and routine inspections to ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, precise measurement, and hands-on ability with press controls and automation.

Formación

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with mechanical and hydraulic presses in stamping/manufacturing.
• Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot presses and related equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, and monitor mechanical and hydraulic presses per drawings and work instructions.
• Safely install, change, and align dies; verify proper setup before operation.
• Load, thread, align, and adjust coil stock, feeders, straighteners, and line controls.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Identify and troubleshoot press, tooling, material, feeding, sensor, and process issues; escalate when needed.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures, LOTO, PPE, and safe material-handling practices.
• Meet production expectations while minimizing scrap, downtime, and changeover time.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area per 5S standards.
• Collaborate across teams to drive problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Follow company policies and standard operating procedures.
