Job summary

NBCUniversal in New York, NY seeks an on-site Production Coordinator to support large-scale pre-taped productions. You will manage crews, vendors, facilities, equipment, transportation, catering, and related logistics to meet tight weekly deadlines.

Responsibilities include onboarding, timecards, invoices, COIs, location and vendor agreements, call sheets, schedules, and issue resolution in a fast-paced setting. Overtime may apply.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to work in person on production’s dark weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Support the successful execution of large-scale pre-taped productions while balancing multiple projects and competing priorities under tight weekly deadlines.
  • Manage crews, vendors, talent, facilities, equipment, transportation, catering, and other production logistics.
  • Assist with crew onboarding, timecards, invoices, expense tracking, petty cash reconciliation, and other production functions.
  • Coordinate the completion and filing of COIs, location agreements, vendor agreements, and permits as required.
  • Coordinate weekly pickups and returns of production rentals, equipment, and scenery.
  • Serve as a central point of communication for production teams, ensuring timely distribution of call sheets, schedules, production updates, and other essential information.
  • Anticipate logistical challenges, communicate status changes, and proactively resolve production issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Facilitate production wrap activities, including equipment returns, vendor closeout, PO reconciliation, documentation, and final expense reporting.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with internal departments, production partners, and external vendors to ensure seamless production operations.
  • Exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion while handling confidential production information.
  • Remain actively engaged during production dark weeks, providing administrative support including processing receipts, invoices, and other departmental tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required On‑Site

This position is required to be performed full‑time from an NBCUniversal‑designated worksite.

Hourly Salary Range

$17.50 – $20.00

The candidate who fills this position will be paid at least 60 hours per week regardless of whether they work less than 60 hours. Hours over 37.5 hrs/wk will be paid at the appropriate overtime rate.

Compensation

$18-$18
