Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking an Account Manager to join our Business Management & Family Office practice within the Advisory Department in Los Angeles. The role focuses on coordinating client accounts, processing payroll, and ensuring accurate financials while delivering exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of business management experience, with CPP a plus and strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPP certification a plus.
• Experience with payroll, insurance and/or risk management.
• Strong business acumen and client service orientation.
• Leadership and team mentorship abilities.
• Interpersonal skills and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable payments and ensure proper coding.
• Review AP schedules and ensure timely payments.
• Review commission schedules and ensure monies due are received.
• Assemble year-end tax packages and respond to client inquiries.
• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and escalate issues as needed.
• Process payroll with outside payroll platform and provide data for posting.
• Prepare monthly financials and perform reconciliation/analysis.
• Mentor Assistant Account Manager and support onboarding of new entities.
