Job summary

NBCUniversal seeks a Film Services Intern to assist a small team handling international territories and mastering vendors for cinema releases. You will help with file delivery to translators, on-screen graphic replacements, and coordinating subtitling and dubbing across London vendors.

The role offers hands-on experience in the Filmed Entertainment Group, with learning across dubbing, subtitling, delivery formats, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student returning to full-time education in Autumn 2028.
• Eligible to work in UK for the duration of the internship (5 July 2027 – 21 July 2028).
• Able to work on-site in NBCUniversal's Central London office four days per week.
• Excellent communication and high attention to detail are required.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support a small team across international territories to ensure timely delivery for cinema releases.
• Send movie files to translators and arrange on-screen graphic replacements.
• Order subtitled and dubbed versions; raise purchase orders.
• Update Smartsheets and project tracking as needed.

Programme Eligibility

To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:

1. You're currently an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full time education in Autumn 2028
2. You're looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course or an Apprenticeship

Additionally, you must also:

• Be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 5th July 2027 - Friday 21st July 2028
• Be able to work in NBCUniversal's Central London office on-site four days per week

What will I be doing?

The Film Services intern role is designed to support a small team, selected international territories and mastering vendors, ensuring timely delivery for release in cinemas. It is a dynamic and pivotal team in the Filmed Entertainment Group, working on all Universal titles releasing Theatrically, be it features or trailers. You will be completing tasks such as sending movie files to translators, arranging creation of on screen graphic replacement, ordering subtitled and dubbed versions at London vendors for release in cinemas, raising purchase orders and updating Smartsheets.

What will I learn from this opportunity?

The Intern will become familiar with the entire process that takes a film from Post Production to the cinema screen in every country in the world. They'll learn about the complexities of foreign dubbing, subtitling, on screen text, audio and picture formats, censorship, different delivery solutions....and more!
