Job summary

NBCUniversal in London is offering a 12-month internship inside the PR, promotions and marketing teams. You will liaise with teams in Orlando and Hollywood to support proactive and reactive publicity efforts and manage press kit content, while analysing campaigns and coordinating travel and partnerships.

You will learn how media partnerships are evaluated, how campaigns progress from creative development to execution, and how post-campaign analyses are compiled.

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple projects.
  • A strong understanding of the media landscape across print and digital.
  • Ability to analyse and present statistical information using spreadsheets and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with personnel in Orlando and Hollywood supporting proactive and reactive publicity efforts, promotional partnerships and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage press kit content and oversee the PR team's media ticket request process.
  • Analyse PR efforts through social media, including celebrities and influencers, and oversee the media database.
  • Assist with evaluation and reports and coordinate travel itineraries; assist with campaign sell-ins and pitch preparation.
  • Review and research of promotional partner opportunities and relevant post-campaign analysis decks; contribute to campaign admin and analysis decks.

Programme Eligibility

To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. You're currently an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full time education in Autumn 2028
  2. You're looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course or an Apprenticeship

Additionally, you must also:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 5th July 2027 - Friday 21st July 2028
  • Be able to work in NBCUniversal's Central London office on-site four days per week

What will I be doing?

A relationship driven role involving liaising with personnel in Orlando and Hollywood supporting proactive and reactive publicity efforts, promotional partnerships and marketing campaigns. Day to day responsibilities will include: management of press kit content, overseeing the PR team's media ticket request process, analysing PR efforts through social media, both celebrities and social influencers, overseeing the media database, assisting with evaluation and reports, coordinating travel itineraries, assisting with campaign sell-ins and pitch preparation where necessary and reviewing and research of promotional partner opportunities and relevant post campaign analysis decks. Additional marketing campaign admin and analysis deck preparation to also be a core element of the role.

What will I learn from this opportunity?

The candidate will learn the working and functions of various creative divisions across PR, promotions and marketing and understand how important the EMEA market is to the overall business needs of Universal Destinations & Experiences.

The candidate will learn:
  • How to evaluate and analyse media coverage
  • How to conduct research for promotional partnerships
  • How to proactively pitch story angles and news to media and content creators
  • Learn how marketing campaigns works from creative development through to execution
  • How to compile post campaign analysis documents
