Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Converting Operator C to set up and operate extrusion and coating lines for flat films. You will work with silicone coaters and slitter equipment to meet production specs and timelines. The role requires precise machine control, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Ability to monitor gauges and ensure machines run correctly.
• Ability to control equipment operations.
• Ability to adjust machine controls precisely.
• Ability to recognize when problems may occur.
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting.
• Fine motor skills to handle small parts.
• Familiar with measurement tools like rulers and gauges.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Willing to work holidays and non-standard hours.
• Maintain dependable attendance and manage work-related stress.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend silicone coaters and coat/convert flat films.
• Observe machines and adjust controls to prevent malfunctions.
• Load materials and set feed rates.
• Start metering pumps and ensure continuous coating flow.
• Follow SOPs and record machine issues.
• Keep machinery and work area clean.
• Ensure film and material quality per specs; QA testing as needed.
