Job summary

Rust-Oleum Corporation is seeking a Filling Line Operator to operate filling line equipment, follow production schedules, and perform in-process quality checks. You will read BOMs, verify weights, labels, and SKUs, and help with line changeovers while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

This full-time, in-person role offers benefits after 30 days and a competetive pay range. The position requires reading comprehension, basic math, data entry, and the ability to lift 50 lbs, with overtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, bills of lading and other shipping and production documents.
• Ability to complete basic math problems.
• Ability to accurately enter and retrieve computer data.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to solve problems in a team environment and participate in QIO program.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform filling line machine operation functions for filling and packaging finished products.
• Set up and operate filling line equipment and adjust to production schedule.
• Maintain in-process quality inspections of cans, boxes and containers.
• Verify product weights, labels and SKUs for accuracy.
• Review job orders to determine quantities, times, BOMs and SKU sequences.
• Operate equipment at efficient speeds to meet output targets.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping, assist with monthly raw/stock inventory, keep area tidy.
• Ensure a safe, clean work area and report hazards or spills.
