Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience running and troubleshooting machinery preferred.
• Experience in a food manufacturing facility a plus.
• Reads, writes and speaks English.
• Proficient at basic addition and subtraction.
• Understands temperature and weight measures.

Responsibilities

• Set up filling machine for production.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity to standards; adjust as necessary.
• Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur; troubleshoot and communicate with supervision/maintenance.
• Record production and test data (temperature, results, cycle time).
• Perform more frequent checks when running a line with a Filler Assistant.
• Replenish packaging supplies (pouches, caps).
• Ensure pouches and caps match filling sheets and coder is operational.
• Verify printed codes on pouches are correct.
• Perform regular product quality checks and document results.
• Perform basic machine cleaning procedures.
