Who We Are And What We Need

Spacestation manufactures California's favorite cannabis-infused beverages. We're looking for a Filler Operator to efficiently run our filling equipment, handle cleaning and sterilization, and uphold our high standards for safety and quality. If you're a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a team and can adapt to various situations, we want to hear from you.

Starting Shift: M-F 6:30am - 3pm

What You'll Do

As a Filler Operator, you'll play a key role in our production, including:

  • Safety & Quality: Always follow safety procedures, maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and meet all food safety and quality standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor high-speed fillers (Express, Wildgoose, Accutek Pinch), cappers, process systems, and other equipment.
  • Quality Checks: Perform hourly quality checks, adjust fill weights to customer specifications, and ensure packaging quality. You'll take corrective actions when needed.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Assist mechanics with minor repairs and overhauls. You'll troubleshoot machinery, recognize issues, and understand how each piece of equipment works.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate logs and paperwork, ensuring timely code checks. You'll also provide clear descriptions of equipment malfunctions and detailed work orders.
  • Changeovers: Efficiently handle package and flavor changes, including installing and removing parts. You'll set guide clearances for bottles and cans and assist mechanics during changeovers.
  • Cleaning & Sanitation: Keep equipment and work areas clean. You'll perform Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures on various processing equipment and carry out cleaning tasks throughout and at the end of shifts.
  • Teamwork & Training: Work effectively with your team, following instructions from supervisors. You'll also train new associates and maintain a positive work environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: A High School Diploma or GED is preferred. We require at least 1 year of related experience, with 2 years of bottling line experience being a plus. You must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Skills: You should be mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills. We need someone analytical, organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks while maintaining high quality. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential.
  • Attributes: We value individuals who are proactive, adaptable, take initiative, and have a strong work ethic. You should be detail-oriented and committed to safety.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions and noise. You should be able to:

  • Stand for extended periods (75% of the time).
  • Perform repetitive tasks.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds at a time, and move objects up to 75 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Work in varying temperatures (35-40 degrees Fahrenheit and 75+ degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Be exposed to a damp environment, airborne particles, and chemicals.
  • Climb ladders multiple times per shift.

Work scheduled shifts, including 8-hour shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime.
