Job Summary

The Filler Operator manages machines involved in packaging functions such as filling, marking, and labeling. Responsibilities include starting machines, monitoring operations, detecting malfunctions, and reporting issues. Machines involved include various fillers like the 30 Valve filler, Quart filler, Nep filler, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machines filling pasteurized products into containers.
• Inspect containers for seals, labels, weights, and dates.
• Check seals and valves for leaks or stains.
• Coordinate with lab for product change approvals.
• Remove defective containers and report malfunctions.
• Adjust machines for different container sizes.
• Record weight, date, and label information every 15 minutes.
• Follow all safety protocols at all times.
• Perform basic math calculations.
