Job summary

Peace River Citrus Products, Inc. – Clower Facility in Bartow, FL seeks a Filler Operator to ensure product, packaging and process norms meet quality and food safety standards.

This role reports to the Production Supervisor and supports blending/packaging operations to meet daily production requirements. The Filler Operator sets up machinery, monitors equipment, logs results and works with blenders and packaging teams.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for keyboard data entry and documentation.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Attention to detail and good physical condition.
• Experience with industrial equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to work extended shifts as needed.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Ability to follow GMP and HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery and ensure materials are available for production.
• Operate and monitor equipment; replenish materials as needed.
• Visually inspect production runs and document results.
• Determine and report malfunctions to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Coordinate with blenders, fillers, and packaging teams.
• Assist quality lab with sampling related to blending and document logs.
• Follow GMP, Safety, SOP and HACCP procedures.
• Be available to work extended shifts as required.

2-2-3 Schedule | 5:00AM to 5:30PM

POSITION SUMMARY:

The position ensures that product, packaging and process norms comply with quality and food safety standards for the company’s beverage base blending/packaging facility located in Bartow, FL. Reporting to the Production Supervisor , this position performs the function of filler machine to meet production requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available
• Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed
• Visually inspect production run and document results
• Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area
• Must work closely with blenders, other filler operators, and packaging
• Required to assist the quality lab with samples related to the blending process and be able to log them manually and/or electronically.
• All documentation must be accurate and done timely. Must follow GMP, Safety, SOP and HACCP procedures.
• Meets all “Good Manufacturing Practices”.
• Practices safety requirements established by OSHA and Peace River Citrus Products.
• Be available to work extended shifts and days.
• Any additional duties assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic knowledge of computer functions on a keyboard
• Past experience and / or good work history
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Excellent physical condition and coordination
• Valid certification to operate forklifts
• High school diploma or GED.
• Utilizes advanced skills of reading, writing, speaking, analytical capacity and high level of professional judgment to resolve problems affecting work areas.
• Applies communication skills to perform work and coordinate with others.
• Works with computers and other electronic communication devices; including programs to prepare documents or reports, as necessary.
• Ability to take prompt and appropriate response to operating conditions.
• Work with other department leadership & employees, including senior level management.
