Job summary

Bulk Apothecary, a leading supplier of natural ingredients and essential oils, seeks a Fill Room Production & Inventory Specialist to support replenishment of 8,500+ SKUs. You will restock items, label oils, pour oils for production, and ensure accurate location scanning within our 160,000 sq ft Aurora, OH distribution center.

First shift, Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm; some overtime may be needed. Candidates should have 1–3 years in a warehouse role, be comfortable with warehouse software and office

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in a Warehouse related role.
• Experienced with Computers, warehouse management software, Office software including spreadsheets.
• Ability to work with limited direct supervision.
• Communicates clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist Fill Room Production and Inventory Leads with inventory counts of oils and components in the fill room.
• Labeling of oils and pouring down oils for production.
• Assist in other departments as needed within the warehouse.
• Actively scans produced product to locations in the distribution center for pickers.
• Verifies counts and performs audits of over-stock and down-stock as space allows.
• Notify Fill Room Supervisor/Manager when issues are identified.

Fill Room Production/ Inventory Specialist

Job Description

The Fill Room Production & Inventory Specialist for Bulk Apothecary directly supports the replenishment of over 8,500 skus that are sold on our ecommerce store by restocking items within designated locations at our distribution center.

Bulk Apothecary was founded in mid 2010 as a small brick & mortar specialty retailer in Streetsboro, Ohio and has since grown to become one of the nation's largest online suppliers of natural ingredients and essential oils. Bulk Apothecary is a fast growing soap and candle making supplier located within a 160,000 square foot facility in Aurora, OH.

This is a full time, first shift position with hours of work Mon-Fri from 7am-3:30pm. Occasional weekend work or overtime may be required by demand.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist the Fill Room Production and Inventory Leads with inventory counts of oils and components in the fill room.
• Labeling of oils.
• Pouring down oils for production.
• Team assist.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assists in other departments as needed within the warehouse and/or perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Actively takes product produced in the Fill-Room and scans it to the locations in the distribution center for use by the pickers.
• Verifies count of produced product and scans into proper locations.
• Completes audits of over-stock products and down-stocks as space allows in locations.
• Assist pickers when questions arise on inventory and make movement transactions as required from over-stock, or removing/adding inventory when count discrepancies are identified.
• Notifies Fill Room Supervisor/Manager when issues are identified.
• Takes product directly to the Amazon department as required, adjusts inventory if pulled from location.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• 1-3 years in a Warehouse related role or position.
• Experienced with Computers, warehouse management software, Office software including spreadsheets, cell phones or tablets.
• Ability to work with limited direct supervision.
• Communicates clearly and effectively.
  
  

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Moderate to heavy physical activity; standing, lifting, moving, stacking and/or walking for more than eight (8) hours per day.
• The ability to lift 60+ pounds on a minimal basis and the ability to lift 35+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
