A2gov in Ann Arbor seeks a Fill-In School Crossing Guard to help children cross streets safely on an as-needed basis. The role pays $13.73 per hour and includes paid sick days and holidays.
You will stop traffic with a STOP sign, report incidents, and assist students who are lost or injured. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, effective communication, and the ability to work independently outdoors.

*Please note, this is a fill-in position that will work as-needed.
Nature of Work:
Hold up a hand-held "STOP" sign until all children are safely across the street. Report any unsafe observations, incidents or accidents involving students to school authorities. Record and report the license numbers of vehicles that disregard the Crossing Guard while in the crosswalk. Assist students that are lost, injured, or need assistance. Abide by all guidelines and regulations governing student crossing.

The Fill-In School Crossing Guard position pays $13.73 per hour and works on an as-needed basis. Fill-in School Crossing Guards are paid for the shifts they cover. Crossing Guards earn one sick day per month and receive four paid holidays and are paid bi-weekly.
