Job summary

Ariel Partners is seeking an experienced UNIX/FileNet administrator to maintain the health and integrity of the enterprise imaging infrastructure. You will lead FileNet IS, P8, ICN, and WebSphere administration, develop scripts for health checks, and monitor backup status across databases and servers.

You will perform upgrades, fixes, and migrations, troubleshoot complex issues, manage large imaging libraries, and ensure performance with SAN storage tuning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IBM FileNet Administration, IBM P8 Administration, and IBM Content Navigator Administration.
• Oracle Database Administration, Backup and Restore.
• Develop UNIX programs to customize FileNet IS, P8, ICN environments.
• Unix OS server administration and basic UNIX troubleshooting.
• SAN storage performance tuning and disk error troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• FileNet Administration for IS, IS Web Services, IDM Capture, P8, ICN & WebSphere.
• Develop Shell Scripts for health checks and monitor backup status across databases and servers.
• Troubleshoot daily operation issues and document retrieval issues across FileNet and Oracle DB environments.
• Maintain and support 220+ TB Imaging Service MSAR Library operations.
• Update and monitor nightly FileNet IS remote document committals to Imaging CORE system.
• Verify processing status and resolve document retrieval/committal issues; document fixes.
• Create new document classes, indexes, and retrieval keys in FileNet IS Test and Production servers.
• Delete or close documents across 39 databases to enable cleanup on IS repository.
• IBM FileNet Software: Installs, Upgrades & Fixpacks; review release notes and patch levels.
• Plan migrations and architecture design for imaging data allocation and future cloud modernization.
