Job summary

Graham Personnel Services is seeking a Field Service Technician in Irving, TX to service, troubleshoot, and maintain high-purity water systems at customer sites. You will diagnose mechanical/electrical issues, assist with installation and startup, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer challenges.

Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5+ years of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, field service, or related experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with attention to safety and quality.
• Good communication with customers and colleagues; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair high-purity water systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend solutions.
• Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Collaborate with Service Management, Engineering, and other teams to resolve customer challenges.

• Participate in an on-call rotation.

Position: Field Service Technician Location: Irving, TX Salary: $65k/yr - $80k/yr

If you enjoy hands on work, solving problems, and learning new skills, this Field Service Technician role offers the opportunity to build your technical expertise while making a difference for customers. You’ll service, troubleshoot, maintain, and commission high-purity water systems while working independently and alongside experienced technicians.

Job Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair high-purity water systems at customer sites
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend solutions
• Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and startup
• Collaborate with Service Management, Engineering, and other teams to resolve customer challenges
• Build strong customer relationships through professional, knowledgeable service
• Complete accurate service documentation and follow company and customer procedures
• Follow safe work practices in the shop, while driving, and at customer sites
• Participate in an on-call rotation

• High school diploma or GED; 5+ years of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, field service, or related experience preferred
• Customer-facing technical experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are a plus

Working Conditions

Hands-on work in shop, industrial, and customer-site environments.

Local travel with approximately 7–8 overnight stays per month once fully trained; additional travel may be required during the first six months for training.

Occasional travel to other company locations.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs., and regularly climb, walk, bend, stoop, crawl, and reach.
