Job summary

Legends Global seeks a Figure Skating Instructor for McFetridge Sports Center. The role teaches all levels in the ISI Learn to Skate Program and supports program events. Hours are 4–6 per week, with potential variation for events.

Responsibilities include evaluating skaters, communicating with families, and assisting with related duties under the Figure Skating Coordinator. Position requires weekend availability and ISI/USFS credentials.

Qualifications

• Must have skated or competed at ISI Freestyle 5 level or USFS equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year Learn to Skate teaching experience required; experience with USFS Skating Skills or Ice Dance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach skaters of all ages and levels in the ISI Learn to Skate Program and assist with events (spring ice show, rink competition).
• Evaluate skaters at session end to determine skill level/advancement.
• Communicate information to skaters and parents regularly.
• Assist with skating program duties as assigned by the Figure Skating Coordinator.
