Job summary

JRAD seeks a Business Operations Specialist (Journeyman) to deliver programmatic, financial, and administrative support for the AFOTEC Detachment 6 contract at Nellis AFB, NV. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, reporting, and compliance to ensure timely performance of complex test operations.

Candidates should have a BA/BS in a related field, 3+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with OT&E activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed in a related field.
• 3+ years in business operations, program support, or project management.
• Experience supporting OT&E activities within AFOTEC or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of contract requirements.
• Track contract performance metrics: cost, schedule, deliverables.
• Develop and maintain program schedules, work plans, status reports.
• Monitor labor hours, expenditures, and budget execution.
• Prepare program documentation, reports, briefings, and correspondence.
• Coordinate meetings and program reviews; track action items.
• Maintain program records and configuration management.
• Assist staffing coordination and personnel tracking.
• Identify risks, track issues, and suggest mitigations.
• Coordinate with technical teams to align operations with objectives.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and policies.
• Support data collection and reporting for program performance.
