Job summary

Draken is seeking skilled Aircraft Mechanics to maintain and operate the largest fleet of commercial tactical military fighter jets for the US Military, DoD and allied forces. Join a team built on Integrity, Service, Excellence and Teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
• Fighter jet experience preferred.
• FAA A&P license preferred.
• Security clearance/ITAR compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Performs/supervises repair, reclamation and maintenance support functions.
• Performs end-of-runway, post-flight, preflight, thru-flight, and phase inspections.
• Detects and advises on problems maintaining, servicing, and inspecting aircraft, removed components and related aerospace equipment.
• Uses technical data to diagnose and solve maintenance problems on aircraft systems.
• Interprets/advises on maintenance procedures/policies to repair aircraft, parts and equipment.
• Troubleshoots and maintains aircraft structures, systems and components.
• Removes, installs and checks aircraft components.
• Maintains, rebuilds and/or overhauls aircraft components according to technical data.
• Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems.
• Supervises and performs aircraft jacking, lifting, and towing operations.
• Other duties as assigned
