RJ Richey Elementary in Burnet, TX, is seeking a dedicated teacher for the 2026/2027 school year to serve grades 3-5. The candidate will provide engaging learning experiences in the core subject area and help students grow academically, emotionally, and socially.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree, Texas teaching certificate, and ability to plan lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with staff, families, and specialists in a supportive learning environment.

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct and manage student behavior
Ability to work well and in a positive manner with staff, students, and public
Ability to use computer software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience: Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned; prior experience working with students preferred.
