Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a Shelf Stocker to help manage inventory at the Great Lake Naval Training Center. Responsibilities include maintaining storeroom cleanliness, stock rotation, receiving orders, inspecting quality, and ensuring invoiced quantities match records.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license to operate a Goodwill vehicle. Safety and daily checks are emphasized, with opportunity to contribute to inventory accuracy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to operate a Goodwill vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and safety of storerooms.
• Rotate stock and follow FIFO procedures.
• Complete Daily JOD Checklist.
• Receive vendor orders and inspect products for quality.
• Verify quantities match invoices and reconcile vendor invoices.
• Return unused items to the assigned storeroom.
• Assist in store room inventory for 10-day inventory and cycle day food ordering.
• Report defective equipment to supervisor.
• Inspect storeroom for safety, organization and fire prevention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
