Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Fieldwork Supervisor (BCBA) to mentor practicum students and develop future BCBAs. You will coach, provide real-time clinical coaching, and supervise up to 4 Case Supervisors while helping them prepare for the BCBA exam.

You will design center-based, naturalistic ABA for 2-6 year olds, collaborate with SLP/OT/psychology teams, and lead ongoing professional development. ESDM certification support is provided.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, or related field.
  • Arizona LBA licensure or eligibility.
  • 2+ years BCBA experience in ABA/early intervention.
  • ABA early intervention experience and client-centered care.
  • Strong focus on care quality for kids.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor up to 4 Case Supervisors, with BCBA exam prep.
  • Provide weekly hours of billable supervision for Case Supervisors.
  • Hold a small caseload as needed.
  • Design and implement naturalistic ABA for ages 2-6 in center.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on assessments and plans.
  • Assist in organizing quarterly CE events for BCBAs/RBTs.
  • Achieve ESDM certification within 2 years.

Soar Autism Center is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. Compensation And Role Design

The Fieldwork Supervisor role is built for BCBAs who are passionate about mentorship, clinical coaching, and developing the next generation of behavior analysts. In this role, you will help Case Supervisors (practicum/fieldwork students) grow into confident, thoughtful, and well-prepared future BCBAs by providing hands-on supervision, structured feedback, and real-time clinical coaching.

  • Base pay: $100,500.00 - $105,000.00/year. Annual performance bonus potential up to $5,000. Additional compensation beyond the range for achieving clinical certifications.
  • Bonus: Up to $10,000 sign on bonus, based on start date and location.
  • Hybrid: 1 work-from-home day per week for each Fieldwork Supervisor (BCBA)
  • Support and training: The Fieldwork Supervisor (BCBA) owns the coaching and mentorship of up to 4 Case Supervisors as they build clinical decision-making skills and prepare for the BCBA exam. This is a hands-on leadership role for a BCBA who wants to develop other clinicians, not a caseload-first position.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Coach and mentor up to 4 Case Supervisors as they grow their clinical and decision-making skills, with a focus on BCBA exam preparation and role readiness
  • Provide weekly hours of billable supervision focused Case Supervisor coaching and development for the clients on their caseload
  • Hold a small caseload of clients, as needed, depending on the Case Supervisor staffing at the center
  • Design and implement individualized, naturalistic ABA for children ages 2-6 in a center-based setting
  • Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary clinical team (SLP, OT, psychology, developmental pediatrics) on assessments and integrated treatment plans
  • Use ESDM-informed strategies (we provide training, ESDM experience not required)
  • Assist the Clinical Trainer in organizing and hosting quarterly, center-level continuing education events for BCBAs and RBTs
  • Achieve ESDM certification within 2 years of starting your role

What You Have
  • Minimum of a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
  • LBA in Arizona
  • Preferred candidates have a background in child development, early childhood education, or a related field
  • 2 or more years of experience as Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • ABA early intervention experience
  • A mission driven nature that is deeply focused on care quality for kids
  • Strong desire to work with clients ages 2- 6
  • Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing
  • Fluency in navigating devices such as computers and tablets
