Job summary

Loyola Marymount University invites applications for Fieldwork Instructors to support LMU Intern candidates in the Bay Area. In this role you will observe classrooms, document teaching experiences, and provide feedback and evaluations to Teacher Candidates throughout the semester.

You will work with the Department of Teaching and Learning in LMU's School of Education, guiding candidates through reflections and collaborative improvements while participating in professional development and Zoom

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Valid California Teaching Credential required and authorization to provide instruction to English Learners.
• Strong communication and organizational leadership abilities; proficient with basic computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Observe Teacher Candidates throughout the semester and document teaching experiences.
• Provide formative and summative digital evaluations and reflective feedback.
• Lead team meetings and support learning environments aligned with LMU's mission.
