Fielding’s Steak is seeking an experienced Barback to support our bar team in delivering polished, efficient, and memorable guest experiences within an upscale dining environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of barback experience, preferably in an upscale, fine dining setting. You will stock, maintain, and prepare the bar, assisting bartenders during high-volume service with speed and professionalism, while upholding Fielding’s standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of barback experience.
• Experience in upscale, fine dining, steakhouse, or high-volume craft cocktail environment preferred.
• Positive, hospitable attitude on every shift.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders with speed, organization, and professionalism during service.
• Stock beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and bar supplies.
• Clean, polish, and maintain glassware to Fielding’s standards.
• Keep the bar clean, organized, and service-ready at all times.
• Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and restocking before, during, and after service.
• Work quickly and maintain a polished presence.
• Anticipate the needs of the bar team during high-volume periods.
• Follow Fielding’s Culinary Group standards, policies, and service expectations.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for guests and team members.
• Communicate clearly with guests, bartenders, managers, and team members.
• Receive and apply feedback professionally.

Fielding’s Steak is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly motivated Barback to support our bar team in delivering polished, efficient, and memorable guest experiences.

The Barback plays a critical role in maintaining the flow, cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the bar. This position requires urgency, attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to support bartenders during high-volume service in a fine dining environment.

Position Requirements

Qualified candidates must have 1–3 years of barback experience. Previous experience in an upscale, fine dining, steakhouse, or high-volume craft cocktail environment is strongly preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support bartenders with speed, organization, and professionalism throughout service

Stock beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and bar supplies

Keep the bar clean, organized, and service-ready at all times
