Bar Backs are essential to keeping the bar running smoothly by staying organized, anticipating needs, and ensuring bartenders have everything they need to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

The Role

• Restock liquor, beer, juices, and bar supplies; keep liquor rooms and beer coolers clean, organized, and stocked
• Complete opening duties to ensure the bar is fully set up and ready for service
• Complete side work and closing duties, including cleaning the bar area, restocking glassware, and preparing for the next shift
• Support bartenders by keeping wells stocked, ensuring kegs are connected and functioning, and replenishing supplies throughout service
• Change kegs and assist with inventory organization as needed
• Maintain all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in accordance with Health Department and restaurant guidelines

Requirements and Skills

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants must be 21 or older
• Must have or be able to obtain ABC Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and California Food Handler Certification
• Previous restaurant or bar experience preferred
• Capable of efficiently multitasking in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
• Can lift up to 75 lbs., including overhead lifting and handling of kegs
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods throughout a shift
