Mobile Modular Portable Storage – a division of McGrath, is seeking a hands-on Yard Worker in Concord, CA. You will organize containers by size and condition, perform cleaning, painting and basic repair work, and assist customers with on-site field service calls.

The role requires 2-3 years in a construction yard, forklift experience, basic computer skills, and strong mechanical aptitude. Expect outdoor work, safety focus, and opportunities to contribute ideas in a team setting.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in a construction yard work environment.
• Forklift experience and safety awareness.
• Basic computer usage for inventory and records.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with container repair exposure.
• Ability to work independently and stay safe in a busy yard.

Responsibilities

• Yard organization using forklift to organize containers by size, state of repair
• Cleaning, painting and basic repair/up keep of containers in the yard
• Support customers by doing on site field service calls
• Light welding and electrical work, carpentry and painting tasks as needed
• Manage inventory and ensure assets are ready for shipment or use
