Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist to deliver safe, reliable wireline tractor and mechanical intervention services in the field. You will lead technical field activities, ensure equipment readiness, and support continuous improvement across Altus operations.

The role demands an engineering background, 3+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to travel across districts in the U.S. A CDL Class A and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or technical diploma is required.
• 3+ years of wireline tractor or mechanical intervention experience.
• CDL Class A with a clean driving record; towing trailer experience preferred.
• Ability to travel across the U.S. when jobs dispatch.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internal tools.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; interact professionally with clients.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced electronics troubleshooting on Baker (Altus) tools.
• Operate and optimize rotation and mechanical equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Execute field operations per Baker procedures and client expectations.
• Prepare, verify and control equipment required for tractor operations.
• Lead completion of the final Baker (Altus) job package and reporting.
• Coordinate activities with district Operations and Sales teams.
