Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Field Networking Professional to support our operations in Ohio. The role involves installing, maintaining, and upgrading networking equipment at pad sites with significant onsite work.

The position is contract-to-hire for an initial six-month project, with potential conversion to full-time. Travel within a 1.5–2 hour radius of St. Clairsville, OH is required, and a hybrid work setup in Martins Ferry, OH is noted.

Qualifications

• Proven strong networking experience.
• Experience in field networking, including hands-on work at various sites.
• Ability to travel regularly to sites within a 1.5 to 2-hour radius of St. Clairsville, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite installation and maintenance of networking equipment at remote field sites.
• Execute equipment replacement projects, upgrading existing technology with newer solutions across numerous field locations.
• Provide specialized IT-focused support directly in the field, addressing networking challenges and ensuring operational continuity.
• Coordinate effectively with operations teams to schedule outages and manage logistical aspects of field deployments and maintenance.
• Help field employees with oil and gas software used to connect to OT devices.
