Job summary

Numotion is hiring a Service Technician to diagnose and repair complex manual and powered wheelchairs and other essential medical equipment. You will work both in the shop and in the field, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction through proper maintenance and documentation.

The role requires mechanical experience, familiarity with hand and power tools, and a valid driver's license. Travel to various locations is possible, and the pay range is disclosed in the posting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required or minimum one year of related experience.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of relevant mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Word Processing, Email, and Internet for documentation.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to assess situations and resolve equipment issues quickly.
• Driving: Valid State Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record; travel to locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in shop and field to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain stock equipment, keeping it clean and organized for customer use.
• Ensure a safe, clean, compliant work environment in shop/warehouse.
• Maintain delivery vehicles to keep them in safe operating condition.
• Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time, including signatures and reports.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use and safety of equipment.
• Perform minor fittings and adjustments to customize equipment for users.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
• Participate in required in-service training to stay current with practices.
