Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Welding Inspector to join our team for field-based work across the midwest and/or northeast regions. You will perform visual inspections of welds, review welding procedures, and ensure adherence to codes, standards, and client specifications.

In this role, you will work in the field, collaborating with a diverse team to uphold safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards, helping ensure the integrity of natural gas distribution projects.

Qualifications

• Certification such as CWI or CPWI is required.
• Prior welding experience in gas pipeline construction or maintenance.
• Strong field experience and understanding of welding practices in utility environments.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of welds to verify compliance with specs.
• Review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards.
• Identify and address welding defects in a timely manner.
• Maintain client and contractor relationships while delivering quality work.
• Support safety and quality assurances for natural gas distribution projects.
