GE Vernova FieldCore is seeking a Welder responsible for cutting, shaping and assembling metalwork and piping, and for operating welding equipment with precision while adhering to welding procedures, safety rules and quality standards across a variety of power generation projects.

The role requires reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, using torches and grinders, and willingness to travel extensively (internationally and domestically).

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ISO certification experience preferred.
• Experience with power generation (gas/steam turbines) is preferable.

Mansioni

• Select proper tools for welding tasks.
• Read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Ensure quality and safety in welding work.
• Operate oxy-acetylene torches and grinders.
• Travel extensively (internationally and domestically).
• Work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.
