Job summary

Cashman Equipment Co. seeks a welding technician to repair and rebuild structurally damaged parts, reading sketches and diagrams and operating welding equipment in varied shop and field conditions.

Travel to remote locations, overtime as needed, and ongoing safety training are expected. Must hold AWS D1.1 and D14.3 certifications, plus a high school diploma or GED and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current driver’s license.
• Minimum of 6 months related experience.
• Current AWS D1.1 and D14.3 certification.
• Must be able to communicate in English (speak, read, write).

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and/or repair metal parts.
• Comprehend and interpret sketches and diagrams.
• Operate welding equipment.
• Prepare service reports.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
