Job summary

Superior Construction is seeking skilled welders for field-based work on heavy civil and highway construction projects. You will read blueprints, set up welding positions, and perform high-quality welds while maintaining safety protocols and daily site operations.

This role requires compliance with OSHA regulations, reliable transportation, and possession or ability to obtain a valid state driver’s license. You’ll work on outdoor sites under varying weather conditions and timelines.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
• Must be reliable/have reliable transportation.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, weld, and inspect components per blueprints and sketches.
• Operate welding equipment and monitor temperature and quality of welds.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Evaluate job specifications and materials for proper welding positions and methods.
• Join heavy civil/highway construction teams on field sites with heavy machinery.
