Thielsch Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Welder to perform welding, brazing and soldering on pressure vessels, piping, structural steel and industrial equipment in shop and field environments.

The role includes demolition, mechanical, millwright and rigging tasks, with travel required. Essential duties cover reading instructions, fabricating and repairing components, surface preparation, layout and weld testing, while maintaining clean work areas and preparing for field installs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous welding experience is required.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Able to hear and understand instructions in a shop environment and effectively communicate (verbal and written).
• Certifications are a plus!

Responsabilités

• Receives instruction, prints and work orders for the job.
• Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning and welding and forming various metals.
• Repairs equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment.
• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
• Sets up, assembles and tack weld parts.
• Field and shop weld demo and installation repair all types of industrial equipment.
