Water Sampling Technician – Hurlburt Field, FL is a part-time / on-call position focused on field collection of drinking water and recreational water samples at the Hurlburt Field installation. Laboratory testing is performed separately by a certified lab.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect water samples at designated locations on Hurlburt Field following SOPs and holding times.
• Label, preserve, package, and prepare samples for transport to the lab.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and field documentation accurately.
• Respond to emergency sampling requests within two hours of notification.
